All our accommodation is situated in the grounds of North Farm in the centre of Norfolk, a beautiful farm only three miles away from the market town of Aylsham but surrounded by open country. Guests can walk out from the farm in all directions or can fish on the Kings Beck (see below for more details).
North Farm lies hidden down a small farm-track, but is only a short drive from the famous Norfolk Broads, beautiful North Norfolk Coast and the city of Norwich. This makes it the perfect base to explore all that Norfolk has to offer from crabbing at Cromer to messing about in boats at Wroxham.
The nearest pub is just over a mile away in the village of Skeyton, and the pretty market town of Aylsham is 3 miles away with a supermarket, as well as a variety of shops and pubs.

Please note that as the cottages are extremely rural, mobile reception can sometimes not be good enough to make and receive calls. The wi-fi is the fastest we have been able to obtain but the high speeds/fibre options are simply not available in our area.
There are lots of ways to keep yourself busy within the grounds of North Farm. A detailed map of the farm can be found here.
Whilst it is no longer a working farm, North Farm is still populated by lots of animals, both livestock and wildlife. Guests can get up early to feed the chickens or wait patiently to watch the barn owl flying over the meadow.
Find out more about the Animals at North Farm.
There are two resident artists who work in the North Farm outbuildings. David Harley is a potter and Teucer Wilson is a stone-carver and letter-cutter.
Guests are welcome to view their studios and can arrange this when they visit. David's pottery is used in the cottages.
North Farm is home to many wild birds including Barn Owls which nest in one of the outbuildings. For those wanting to spend longer spotting wildlife, we have installed a hide overlooking the stream that runs through the farm. Find out more about Birdwatching on the farm.
To make your holiday extra special, we can arrange everything from massages in your cottage, ready meals delivered to the freezer or even a local caterer for your special party or celebration, as well as bike hire and livery services.
Full details of all the extra services on offer and how to book them can be found here.
You are able to fish on a small tributory of the River Bure which runs through the property. If you are not a regular fisher and do not have a rod licence, you must purchase one from the Environment Agency. Further details are available on the Environment Agency website.
There are lots of lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and the famous Norfolk Broads are only a short drive away.
You can join the Bure Valley Path by walking across the fields to Oxnead and there are many other walking trails nearby. More information is available at Norfolk Trails and Aylsham Walkers are Welcome.
